Over the weekend the DPRK the ruling party of North Korea went on the airwaves and called for an end to the 60 year old armistice between North Korea, South Korea, and the United States. It isn’t the first time North Korea has engaged in talks, but this sudden turn around and public call for a peace treaty maybe the strongest indication North Korea is really hurting from sanctions and it’s global seclusion.
