The 52 Million Dollar Man…

In this July 9, 2008 file photo, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., speaks at a fundraiser in New York. Barack Obama swamps John McCain in June fundraising and now has pulled in an eye-popping $340 million. But his decision to forgo public funds for the fall campaign means he must keep up that pace — a tall order that will tax his time, test his Internet support and require the help of Democratic donors who once wished for his defeat. Barack Obama set another election fund raising record by raising 52 million in the month of June his second best single month haul. Obama opted out of public financing so he will continue to need his grassroots supporters to continue to donate and it looks like they are still fired up! If Obama\’s campaign keeps up the fundraising momentum Obama should have plenty of resources to campaign in all of the battleground states…
