Guam, North Carolina and Indiana up next…

It was predictable, the result in Pennsylvania and onward the Obama campaign moves into Indiana and North Carolina two of the next big contests left. Hillary Clinton staked her claim in Pennsylvania and got the win she needed to keep her nomination alive. Currently though she trails in North Carolina and Indiana the next two biggest states left. In North Carolina she trails consevativly by 10% points and if that remains by May 6th will nullify any gains by Clinton in Pennsylavania. Indiana will be contested hotly since both candidates are in a near tie there yet Obama leads by average by 5% points. Thats a far cry from the Clinton lead early in Pennsylvania where she enjoyed a 20% point lead.

To all the Pennsylvania Obama supporters \”You Rock\”. Thanks to all of you for coming out Tuesday. It wasn\’t enough to win but it did keep Clinton from making a rout of Pennsylvania and in the end her small gains Tuesday will reflect in the overall total in delegates and popular votes. It could have been much worse if Clinton won by 15-20 % but she didn\’t…

Democrats Obama-Clinton Spread
Total Delegates 1721 – 1590 Obama + 131
Pledged Delegates 1485 – 1331 Obama + 154

Popular Vote (w/FL) 48.3 – 47.6 Obama +0.7
Nat\’l RCP Average 50.1 – 40.1 Obama +10.0
