Most likely Rep. Bart Stupak will be remembered as the man who put healthcare reform over the top with votes and it’s passage into Law. Sadly, it is reported that the Michigan representative and pro-life democrat will not run for his seat in the next election. Rep. Stupak’s decision not to seek re-election though understandable will weaken democrats as they try to hold control of the Congress.
