“CHATTER” Europe Tightens Security Over Recent Terror Plots Intel

The United States over the weekend issued a travel alert for American citizens traveling to Europe also today Japan issued the same warning to its citizens. The plots may come as a Mumbai terrorist attack similar to the commando style attacks in  Mumbai,India 2008. The chatter may indicate Muslim extremist groups are already prepared and set to attack public places in Germany,Italy, France, and other European countries.

Michael Steele Set Fireworks In Afghan War Gaffe…

While the GOP  Committee leader Michael Steele was explaining why the Afghanistan War from where the U.S. was attacked 2001 was unwinnable and declaring The Afghanistan War is President Obama’s war of chose. The new supreme allied commander of Afghanistan Gen. David Petraeus was taking the reigns and declaring “The U.S. Is In It To Win It”, and explaining the extreme Islamic threat Al-Qaeda and the Taliban  are still in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Now Michael Steele is walking back from his statements in this closed GOP fundraiser gaffe, but it begs the question if GOP Chairman Michael Steele  thinks this is unwinnable and Obama’s War of choosing, is the Afghan War already predestined to fail?

Gen. McChrystal Out…Gen. Petraeus On Fast Track Confirmation For Afghanistan Commander

The President didn’t waste time in firing Gen McChrystal for his Rolling Stone remarks and had Gen. Petraeus flown to Washington to be appointed the new Afghanistan commander. The Senate confirmation process is expected to be very quick.

Gen. ‘Loose Lips’ McCrystal Summoned Back To Washington After Rolling Stone Comments About President Obama

Gen. McChrystal the overall commander in Afghanistan has once again put his foot in his mouth after he and his aides are quoted in this months Rolling Stone calling President Obama and staff “Wimps” and “Clowns”. Gen McChrystal will be in Washington to meet with the President to explain his comments.

This is the second time Gen. McChrystal has been summoned to meet personally with the President the first was his open comments about his request for 40,000 more combat troops soon after President Obama’s inauguration. As Commander-in-Chief President Obama should wield his big stick and kick some butt and demonstrate the chain of command.
